Liberty Union-Thurston Local Schools; August 08- Present
K-5 Art Teacher; Teach up to 6 art classes daily while seeing each elementary class once a week. In 08-09 year also taught one 6th grade art class daily. Developed an art curriculum specifically for LU-T in correlation with state standards. Incorporate art history, appreciation, and critique. Partnered with Fairfield Area Humane Society for service learning, as well as brought in a local artist for community collaboration lessons. Worked with the mayor to develop a traveling student art quilt for Baltimore village. Perform weekly lunch duties. Helped create scenery and decorations for school programs. Work with teachers to align art curriculum with classroom lessons.
